The meeting of member firms of the Russian-German Foreign Trade Chamber took place on May 28, which was attended by our employees as well. Such meetings are held on a regular basis and contribute to maintaining and expanding contacts between the member companies of the Foreign Trade Chamber. Despite the ongoing regime of self-isolation, the organizers made every effort to maintain the spirit of personal communication typical for meetings, even online meetings. For this purpose, 6 rooms for B2B meetings, 4 theme rooms, and 1 lounge were organized. Snacks and drinks were delivered to participants’ homes directly, live broadcasts of opera arias and cooking classes were held, as well as a photo contest.
During the meeting, the guest of honor of the event, assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Maxim Oreshkin spoke about the overall economic situation in the country and explained the government’s anti-crisis measures. Our auditor Tatyana Ablekova also managed to ask Mr. Oreshkin about the impact of studying at the Higher School of Economics on the formation of a career in public service.
Our company expresses its gratitude for the meeting to the entire staff of the Chamber. Despite the distance and format, it felt like all the participants were nearby, the meeting turned out to be dynamic and interesting. The Chamber has shown that even in such times, we can and should stay in touch, and spend an interesting and eventful evening under any circumstances.
