Speech by Olga Grigorieva at the tax conference of the Russian-German chamber of commerce (AHK). Changes in tax legislation in Russia: analysis and exchange of views

20.01.2021

The Committee on Taxes and Financial Reporting of the Russian-German chamber of commerce held an annual tax conference on January 20, 2021, which focused on latest changes in tax legislation.

Olga Grigorieva, the head of Sterngoff Audit LLC, spoke at the conference about the changes regarding the entry of foreign companies into the register of SMEs.

The key change is that, starting from December 1, 2020, auditors have the right to apply for entry of companies with foreign capital into the register of SMEs on a monthly basis, from the 1st to the 5th day of each month.

The main criteria for entry have not changed. In order to be included into the register and take advantage of the benefits, a subsidiary and its foreign founder(s) must each have a total income that does not exceed 2 billion rubles, and also have no more than 250 employees.

We remind you that the entry into the register will allow a company to reduce insurance premiums from wages from 30% to 15%, as well as to take advantage of many other benefits established in Russia for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Our company has been successfully providing the service of entering into the register of SMEs since July 1, 2020. We are ready to analyze the data of your company and carry out audit procedures for it to enter into the register of SMEs.
