Participation in the conference organized for CFOs by the Committee on Taxes and Financial Reporting of the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce

On 28 June, we spoke at the annual conference organized for CFOs by the Committee on Taxes and Financial Reporting of the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce.

The audience was captured by a vigorous debate during Olga Grigorieva’s speech on the effects of the recent events and application of International Standard on Auditing 570 “Going Concern” in the current context.

1. Identifying an event after the reporting period (EARP);
2. Verifying EARP disclosure in the explanatory notes to the accounting statements;
3. Obtaining relevant written confirmations from the audited entity;
4. Presentation of data in an auditor’s report based on adequate or inadequate disclosure.
